FPGA Engineer(M/F/D)

Full-time, Dresden

Your Role:

You will strengthen our team in the development of new functions and components in our FPGA designs and, if necessary, hardware-related software for our on-board and ground systems.

 Your tasks include:

  • Conception and design of FPGA modules with Verilog or VHDL.
  • Implementation of digital signal processing algorithms.
  • Simulation of designs and preparation of system and integration tests.
  • Planning, implementing, and putting software interfaces into operation to-gether with our software developers.
  • Supporting the conception and commissioning of verification setups with prototypes and engineering models.
  • Working in close cooperation with our hardware development team.
 

Your Profile:


  • University degree in electronical engineering, computer science, communications engineering, or comparable qualification.

  • Good knowledge of VHDL or Verilog for FPGA programming.

  • Experience with modern system-on-chip, such as Xilinx Ultrascale.

  • Working with necessary development tools (e.g. Vivado).

  • Optional: You know the concept of high-level synthesis or already have knowledge of using Software Defined Radios (SDR).

  • Fluent in English and/or German.
